Proceed towards the Sangam area.
07:30 AM – Triveni Sangam Visit
Begin your Prayagraj pilgrimage at the Triveni Sangam, the city's most important spiritual attraction.
Tradition identifies the Sangam as the meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati, and the area has long been an important pilgrimage centre.
Activities at Sangam
You may choose to enjoy a traditional boat ride, take a holy dip, perform puja or simply spend some peaceful time observing the spiritual activities around the confluence.
Recommended duration: 60–90 minutes.
Please note: Boat services depend on weather, river level, local administration and safety conditions.
09:00 AM – Shri Lete Hue Hanuman Ji Temple
After the Sangam visit, proceed to the famous Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, also popularly known as Lete Hanuman Ji or Bandhwa Hanuman Ji.
The temple is notable for its reclining form of Lord Hanuman and is one of the important religious attractions near Sangam.
Suggested visit: 30–40 minutes.
During major festivals, Tuesdays, Saturdays and pilgrimage periods, darshan may take longer because of crowds.
10:00 AM – Alopi Devi Temple
Proceed to Alopi Devi Temple in Alopibagh.
The district's tourism information identifies it as an ancient temple and an important pilgrimage attraction, particularly during Navratri.
Spend some time for darshan and prayers.
Suggested duration: 30 minutes.
11:00 AM – Anand Bhavan & Swaraj Bhavan
Continue to Anand Bhavan, one of Prayagraj's best-known historic attractions.
Anand Bhavan served as a residence of the Nehru family, while the adjoining Swaraj Bhavan has strong associations with India's independence movement.
Here visitors can explore the historic buildings, photographs, preserved rooms and exhibits according to the sections open on the day of visit.
Recommended duration: 60–90 minutes.
Important
Anand Bhavan/Swaraj Bhavan access is subject to the institution's operating days, public holidays, maintenance and ticket availability. If it is closed, the itinerary can be adjusted with another city attraction.
01:00 PM – Lunch Break
Stop at a suitable local restaurant.
Guests can choose from North Indian, South Indian, vegetarian or other available cuisines.
Lunch is normally not included unless specifically mentioned in the quotation.
Suggested break: approximately 45–60 minutes.
02:15 PM – Khusro Bagh
After lunch, visit Khusro Bagh, one of Prayagraj's major Mughal heritage sites.
The walled garden contains sandstone mausoleums associated with Prince Khusro, Sultan Begum and other members of the Mughal royal family, and the district tourism authority describes the complex as a significant example of Mughal architecture.
Recommended duration: 45–60 minutes.
It is particularly suitable for visitors interested in architecture, history and photography.
03:30 PM – Civil Lines & All Saints Cathedral
Drive through Civil Lines, an important part of the city's colonial-era urban landscape.
A photo stop can be made near All Saints Cathedral, popularly called Patthar Girja. The Prayagraj district tourism site describes the cathedral as a late-19th-century Gothic-style landmark designed by Sir William Emerson. It currently states that interior access is available on Sundays, so weekday visits should be treated primarily as an exterior/photo stop unless local access is confirmed.
04:15 PM – Optional City Attraction
Depending on available time, your tour can include one of the following:
Chandra Shekhar Azad Park, Allahabad Museum, Bharadwaj Ashram, ISKCON Prayagraj, or additional temple sightseeing.
The exact stop can be selected according to traveller interest and operating hours.
05:15 PM – New Yamuna Bridge / Riverside View
Proceed towards the New Yamuna Bridge area for a panoramic city and river view.
The bridge is recognised by Prayagraj district tourism as one of the city's prominent modern landmarks.
This makes a good final sightseeing/photo stop before completing the tour.
06:00–06:30 PM – Tour Ends
You will be dropped at your hotel, Prayagraj Railway Station, airport or another agreed city location.
Tour concludes with memorable experiences of Prayagraj.
Actual completion time can vary depending on traffic, temple queues, boating conditions and time spent at individual attractions.
